This independent and collective project broadcasts over internet, FM, seas and shores during the spring flotilla to Gaza.
It airs prerecorded content contributed from around the world and live segments both from ground stations and the flotilla radio boat.
Wave Zero aims to amplify solidarity with Palestine and Gaza, connecting the worldwide support community with the flotilla and beyond.
Our goals are:
- To invite people worldwide, activists and otherwise, to express support to the Flotilla and Gaza by contributing content to the radio.
- To strengthen the solidarity between the Flotilla and the global community via a live presence on board that everyone can tune into, echoing our call to action.
- To nurture unity amongst Flotilla participants and show their daily life, sharing their voices live.
It will take the following formats:
- The main antenna will broadcast audio content donated by people globally on a 24/7 basis: Music, Poetry, readings, speeches, discussions, and stories organised into segmented playlists.
- The radio boat team will organise live broadcasts: concerts and events from the Flotilla while at anchor, and lighter broadcasts when underway.
- Slots will be allocated to aligned radios and collectives wishing to broadcast regular larger "shows".
Wave Zero will also ripple outwards and will be sharing its stream to local comrade radios across the Mediterranean, and the rest of the world who can re-broadcast on their Web & FM waves.

You are a musician, poet, writer, reader, speaker, storyteller, and wish to contribute your recorded content to the playlists we will curate.
You may feel like your art or content is niche or unrelated to an event in support of Palestine. Don't! Your voice is legitimate and solidarity comes in all forms of creativity.
There are several formats under which your contribution can come:
- Short forms or single files, up to 15min. If your content is more talk or discussion-based, we will include it in segments devoted to similar natured content. If your content is more musical, it will be sorted into relevant playlists and included in the shuffle between segments.
- Long form and multiple files, 15min to 1h segments. Medium-sized submissions can be compiled with similar content into theme-based shows. Let us know how you would prefer it to be aired. Longer content can be broken up into segments of up to an hour and broadcast on regular, predefined slots as a show. Let us know if you would like to set up a specific slot.
- Live shows. If what you're looking for is a slot on the radio's grid to host a live show, we can help you set this up from where you are on our interface, once we get to know a little more about your project.
